Indiabulls Financial Services Ltd. and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. were among the top gainers with an increase of 6.75% and 5.77% along with Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd.and Steel Authority Of India Ltd. with an increase of 4.19% and 3.83% respectively, while the top losers include United Breweries Ltd. and Larsen and Toubro Ltd. with a decrease of 2.66% and 2.60% along with Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. and Videocon Industries Ltd. with a decrease of 2.48% and 2.35% at the close of the markets. The Indian currency is down 0.20 % at Rs 55.24 per dollar.
