Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 83.67 points up to stand at 19,990.08. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 32.55 points up to stand at 6,056.60. Idea Cellular Ltd. and Bharti Airtel Ltd. were among the top gainers with an increase of 8.76percent and 5.16percent along with Hexaware Technologies Ltd. and Yes Bank Ltd. with an increase of 4.75percent and 4.14percent respectively, while the top losers include Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd and United Breweries Ltd. with a decrease of 4.82percent and 4.02percent along with United Spirits Ltd. and Jaypee Infratech Ltd. with a decrease of 3.37percent and 2.71percent at the close of the markets. The Indian currency is 0.05percent down at Rs 54.52 per dollar. less
