Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 51.56 points down to stand at 19,588.16. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 20.40 points down to stand at 5,938.80. Hexaware Technologies Ltd. and Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. were among the top gainers with an increase of 3.60percent and 3.34percent along with Tata Chemicals Ltd. and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. with an increase of 3.26percent and 3.23percent respectively, while the top losers include Strides Arcolab Ltd. and Manappuram Finance Ltd with a decrease of 13.25percent and 6.21percent along with Suzlon Energy Ltd. and Essar Oil Ltd. with a decrease 4.86percent and 4.83percent at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 33.51 points at 10,940.11, while the banking sector is down 68.85 points at 14,184.83 and the realty sector is down 31.48 points at 2,179.70.
