Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 44.52 points down to stand at19736.67. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 11.55 points down to stand at 5987.35. Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. and Rural Electrification Corpn Ltd. were among the top gainers with an increase of 5.34percent and 4.52percent along with Power Finance Corpn. Ltd. and Bhushan Steel Ltd. with an increase of 3.18percent and 2.85percent respectively, while the top losers include Bank Of Baroda and Opto Circuits (India) Ltd. with a decrease of 7.63percent and 7.27percent along with Adani Power Ltd. and IDFC Ltd. with a decrease of 6.31percent and 5.53percent at the close of the markets.The Auto sector is up 48.95 points at 10,934.66, while the reality sector is down 6.62 points at 2,205.97 and the Banking sector is down 109.46 points at 14,355.70.The Indian currency is 0.08 percent up at Rs 53.15 per dollar.
