Much to the happiness of the Congress, its acclaimed 'yuvraj' Rahul Gandhi formally took charge as the newly appointed vice-president today, after being elevated at the party's prolific Jaipur conclave. Rahul further had a meeting with all the general secretaries and the department heads of the Congress party. As the party's newly appointed number 2, Rahul Gandhi will be heading the campaign committee of the party and will actively formulate electoral strategies for the 2014 general elections. less
