President Pranab Mukherjee and PM Dr. Manmohan Singh reached Kolkata Wednesday evening to attend the inaugural session of the Indian Science Congress beginning Thursday. Mukherjee will inaugurate the five-day event at the Salt lake stadium in the presence of PM, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee and West Bengal Governor M K Narayanan. Singh is set to unveil India’s fourth science policy at the function.
