President Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated the Surajkund International Crafts Mela, displaying the rich handicrafts, cuisine and culture from here and abroad, in Faridabad today. Folk dancers from various parts of the country will participate in the 15-day annual fair at Surajkund in Haryana. Besides thousands of artisans from the country, craftsmen from neighbouring South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) nations as well as from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgystan would display their craft at the annual fair. less
