Politicians from different quarters hailed the election of two-time former party chief of BJP Rajnath Singh, adding that he could serve as a catalyst for the party to prosper. Singh has been elected unopposed for a two-year term till 2015. Janata Dal-United Chief (JD-U) Sharad Yadav, called Singh a leader of the masses and lauded him for his political understanding.
