Police in Odisha arrested two Maoists who were accused of being involved in a 2011 abduction case of a civil servant in Malkangiri district. The arrests were made when the police raided the district's Chitrakonda forest area where a group of Maoists were holding a meeting. The abduction case had been one of the high profile cases after the Maoists struck in the area in 2011.
