Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh today said that the central government acknowledged the alarming number of court cases pending in courts across the country and was committed to build an effective justice delivery system. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Singh said that the need of the hour was to fortify the legal system and find ways of tackling the piling cases. He added the country's legal system had to understand complexities of the globally changing economic times.
