India's former Foreign Minister, Natwar Singh has said that the peace process with Pakistan should be halted to send a strong message to Pakistan in wake of its ceasefire violations in Kashmir. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, Singh said that India should adopt stringent steps while dealing with Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party has demanded international pressure to be put on Hafez Saeed, the Pakistani Islamist leader accused of masterminding the 2008 Mumbai massacre. Congress Leader, Harish Rawat echoed similar sentiments saying that those responsible for the violation should be brought to book with immediate effect.
