Pakistani Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that Pakistan will stand by Kashmiris till the realization of their demands for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute. Ashraf also said that Pakistan had always supported dialogue with the government of India as wars were not solution to problems. Rallies were held across Pakistan to mark 'Kashmir Solidarity Day' on Tuesday February 5 to express harmony with Muslim Kashmiris fighting Indian rule in the valley. More than one thousand people rallied in Lahore in a demonstration organized by Defence of Pakistan Council, an alliance of about forty religious political parties.
