Despite the drop down in the wholesale price of Onion by Rs. 200 per quintal, the retail price of the culinary vegetable does not seem to go low. While vendors are holding government’s price rise gimmick, small retailers are holding transportation and price hike in fuel prices responsible for the rise in its retail price.
