Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh today met Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar to discuss the current political situation in the state and said that there is no threat to the BJP Government in Karnataka. Meanwhile Karnataka Chief Minister, Jagdish Shettar informed that it was just a courtesy meeting and there is no political crisis in the state. The BJP Government in Karnataka has plunged into crisis ahead of the Budget session, as two ministers C M Udasi and Shobha Karandlaje had resigned to join B S Yeddyurappa. The BJP's strength in the assembly is 120, including the Speaker, an Independent and a nominated member.
