Nepal President Ram Baran Yadav recently met Home minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde in New Delhi on his five-day visit to India. Yadav and Shinde discussed a wide range of bilateral issues and modalities on strengthening New Delhi's ties with Kathmandu. Foreign secretary, Rajan Mathai also met the visiting Nepalese President. During his visit, Yadav also met his Indian counterpart, Pranab Mukherjee and Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid. He also held delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
