The Hyderabad Police have arrested Angad Singh, the coach of Jammu and Kashmir under 20 women's hockey team for alleged molestation attempt. Upon being alerted by the Punjab players the police swung into action and registered a complaint against the coach. According to the players, the coach tried to sexually harass them onboard a train from New Delhi to Hyderabad, following which they reported the matter upon reaching their destination. Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and Vice President of Hyderabad Hockey Association, Tejdeep Kaur Menon, shelled out the details of the complaint by the players. The incident has drawn huge outcry amongst the sports fraternity most of whom are now demanding severe action including lifetime ban on the coach.
