The Indian selectors included top rebel' singles players Somdev Devvarman and Yuki Bhambri to the Davis Cup team for the crucial ties against Indonesia in April. The 11 top players, including Devvarman, Bhambri, Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna had revolted against the All India Tennis Association's (AITA) demanding better playing conditions. In their absence, India had lost the Asia/Oceania Group I first round tie against South Korea 1-4 earlier this month.
