India is today celebrating the150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the social reformer whose life and work in several ways mark the historical process of India rediscovering itself in modern times. President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the anniversary celebrations at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi and release a set of commemorative coins and stamps. UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi along with several Union Ministers will also be present on the occasion. Meanwhile children in Visakhapatnam also paid homage to the social reformer by dressing up like him.
