Condemning the death of two Indian soldiers in a clash near the LoC with Pakistan, Union Salamn Khurshid today said that violation of ceasefire along Line of Control (LoC) is a matter of great concern and could have an adverse impact on the peace process. Speaking at a press conference in New along with visiting Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh, Khurshid said that the Pakistan's ambassador Salman Bashir was summoned and spoken to in very strong terms. While stating that the Indian government was awaiting "an appropriate response" from the Pakistan government, Khurshid said that it must be ensured that the situation is not allowed to escalate further.
