Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office (PMO), V. Narayanasamy, today expressed confidence that the Congress-led UPA Government would emerge victorious during the debate on FDI in multi-brand retail in the Lok Sabha under rule 184. Charging the opposition parties of spreading misinformation on FDI in retail, Narayanasamy said that the government would give a befitting reply to all the queries raised by the former. Meanwhile slamming Congress over FDI, BJP Vice President, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that it is a step taken by the government to safeguard the interests of the international market mafias at the cost of national interest Interacting with the media persons in New Delhi, Naqvi said that voting inside the parliament would decide as to who is in favour of national interest and who is working for international interests. less
