Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has sought intervention by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for early setting up of refinery in Barmer district, allocation of coal linkage and gas quota on long term basis for the state's power projects. Gehlot made an elaborated submission before the Prime Minister about the development related issues, during his meeting with the latter in New Delhi. The chief minister also briefed Singh on the ongoing development works and other achievements of his government and also invited him to the state to have a look on 'good work' on these projects. Gehlot during his three day sojourn met several Union Ministers, including Urban Development Minister, Railway Minister, Home Minister, Energy Minister, Coal Minister and Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister to pursue states pending matters/project with their respective Ministries.
