Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot recently had a courtesy meeting with the son of late singer Mehandi Hasan in Jaipur. The chief minister had an informal chat with Mohammad Arif, who is also a renowned Gazal singer in Pakistan. Arif was accompanied by another Pakistani Gazal singer Ata Ulla Khan. Gehlot also shared his experience of listening to his father, who had once performed at a Gazal Event during the International Rajasthani Conference. Mehandi Hasan had deep links with Rajasthan as he was born in Luna village in Jhunjhunu district of the state.
