Union Civil Aviation Minister, Ajit Singh, today stated that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is dissatisfied with the revival plan put forward by debt-strapped Kingfisher airlines whose operating license expired on December 2012. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, he said that the airlines have no plan either to pay its employees or fulfill any safety standards. Meanwhile, commenting on the suspension of Air India's Capt. R.S. Dhillon and the subsequent confusion that followed after he was rostered on a flight, post his suspension, Singh said that arrangements should have been made to avoid such a situation.
