Communist Party of India (CPI) in Madhya Pradesh has demanded the release of their party leaders, who have been falsely implicated in the name of Maoists. Talking to mediapersons in Raipur, CPI leader, Prabodh Panda said that he has heard through media reports that the state government has taken the decision that the political cases against the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress pending in the trial courts, will be withdrawn. Panda said they have written a letter to the state chief minister Raman Singh to review the pending cases against CPI cadres.
