Counting of votes for all 68 assembly seats in Himachal Pradesh which witnessed a record turnout of voters began this morning. The fate of 459 candidates, including 106 independents, will be decided during the day. Early trends in Himachal Pradesh election results 2012 indicate that the Congress is surging far ahead of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). As per the latest trends available till 9.37 am the BJP is leading on 23 seats, the opposition Congress is leading on 29 seats. less
