The Bollywood fraternity congratulated veteran actors Sharmila Tagore and late Rajesh Khanna on being chosen for the third highest civilian honour, the Padma Bhushan. Speaking on the sidelines of an award ceremony in showbiz capital Mumbai, B-town superstar Amitabh Bachchan thanked the government for honouring such accomplished persons from the film industry. Meanwhile, Bollywood actress, Raveena Tandon Thadani urged the government bodies to confer the awards while the person is alive. Echoing similar sentiments, actress Vidya Balan said that it is sad and a bit of delay that the award is being conferred to Rajesh Khanna when he has passed away.
