Hitting back at its ally Janata Dal-United for mocking VHP for backing Narendra Modi as the PM candidate of the NDA, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today said that the JD (U) that takes instructions from Muslim clerics on various issues, had no right to make such a comment. It also added that Hindu holy men and saints have the right to decide about the prime minister of the country. In an apparent dig, the regional JD (U), which heads a coalition government with the BJP in Bihar had said that the political parties, and not Hindu holy men, would decide the opposition's PM candidate.
