The Bharatiya Janata Party today condemned the remark of Congress spokesperson Shakeel Ahmad Khan about senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani. Khan had said that Advani should have stayed in Pakistan to serve Hindus, who were in bad condition, and further added that the senior BJP leader came to India for his political ambitions. The BJP also asked Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to clarify whether Ahmed's comment was the official line of the party. It also stated that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and late PM Inder Kumar Gujral like millions of Hindus also migrated from Pakistan in 1947 at the time of the partition of the country.
