Political leaders across the country have expressed grief and offered condolences on the passing away of Shiv Sena supremo Bal Keshav Thackeray. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief, Nitin Gadkari who has left for Mumbai to take part in the funeral procession, termed Thackeray as the head of their political family and said that both the BJP and Shiv Sena have been dented because of his demise. Meanwhile, leader of opposition in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj revealed that she had an appointment to meet Bal Thackeray today but she was now in state of mourning and shock. Thousands of weeping and distraught supporters of Bal Thackeray assembled in Mumbai for his funeral procession today as security continues to be tight.
