Nearly a month after the gruesome Delhi gang rape sent shock waves across the country, women protesters today took to the streets of Bangalore to demand justice for the deceased victim, amid rising clamor for death penalty. Anger spilled on to the streets of Bangalore, as students demonstrated against men who project women as commodities. Another protesting student, Shreya Sinha, said that they still do not feel safe on the streets, despite a slew of measures announced by the government for the security of women. less
