But, our media are also giving a lot of important to few normal issues and wasting the precious time of every Indian. If MEDIA REALISE THEIR REAL RESPONSIBILITIES, THEN EACH AND EVERY POSITIVE THING WILL HAPPEN DAILY. MEDIA MAY CONCENTRATE ON REAL CONSTRUCTIVE TOPIC AND GIVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO UTILISE THE VALUABLE TIME OF EVERY INDIAN PLEASE.

everybody talks about sachin never delivers when needed, what about the would have been happen to those matches if sachin had not scored those run. It means the team would have lost many more matches. try to rewrite the record books with the 0 scored by sachin in every match & see how many matches would have been lost by the team. Sachin scores 1000 runs in this season much more than every batsman in the team and you people still blaming and criticize sachin. Its time to backup him to reduce pressure. people talks above infusion of young players in the team, but have you seen performance of Raina, Rohit, jadeja, umesh yadav in one dayer. It is not encouraging. Dhoni talks that the seniors are slow in field, but we have not seen any brilliance in field from the young players except Raina. Rohit even dropped some important catches and his body language shows that he is not vigilant and is getting out on lazy shots.

when you need a new sachin, somebody proves he is better than sachin. otherwise keep quiet and watch sachin play

Sachin we all know you are born for records and not for test match one day or 20 overs to win for the country India was wondering after Gavaskar will some one come for records and you appeared but Gavaskar retired after failure magnanimously like wise better you hang your boots instead clinging to your boots started smelling badly

If you note. The Great Lara said good bye to cricket when he still could play for two to four year, Sir Richards too went out the same way.. so why is sachin still playing and playing and ......... He is so selfish he plays only for records...and now he want it so badly the 100th 100 that he is not getting it, maybe srilanka will donate him that tomorrow and then they themselves will go give him a hand and tell him to go and take rest from cricket.. :D :) ;)

Sachin you should play a 500 hundred ODI Matches then after you take a decission for good bye Cricket but you play test.

Am commenting in resposne to several person saying there are many other key and important things happening in India which a common man needs to sustain himself and media is focusing on such time wasting exercise. It is very important that news and media coverage should be about several things happening in the world. some of them may be silly to some people, many of them will be waste of time to many... yet to make a balanced life, it should have a good mix of important and silly news as well... just like we have a good mix of ingredients while cooking food... if the media always talks about the financial crisis or lack of basic amenities to people, then life for millions will become a depressing situation.

No one can decide his carreer. He should decide his last day of cricket. Just based on few months cricket, we can not deceide his 23 years of cricket to end. He is still fit oth physically and mentaly. He scored highest number of runs in test cricket in this tour.

This is an uncalled for article. We all know and saw his 200. So yahoo cricket is not doing us a favor by putting this article here. Also, the timing of this article clashes with Sachin's total loss of form in Australia currently. So please stop putting this up to protect him any more, he has to retire and ther eis no other option for him or for Indian Cricket.

For long we have said that there is no one else to replace him, but BCCI should bring any successful batsman from Ranji. Let them fail in international cricket. But how will we know about their real capabilities until they bring him in. I can even see the unnecessary pressure being put on any player that comes in. Cos our media will still be talking about Sachin's records for years to come and saying that the new guy XYZ has not even come close to him.

Don't forget that Sachin took nearly 50-70 matches to score his first ODI century.

In india 'cricket' may or may not be religion, 'sachin' surely is...

This is not first ODI 200 score. First to score ODI 200 is Australian Belinda Clark. She score 229.

We all like sachin and we agree he is great cricket player but he must raise to actuation, we shud have appriciatie if he score this 100th century against England or Australia or Srilanka / pakistan / South Africa ,we dont want him to score 100 against Bangladesh / Kenya etc. If he score 100th century against Bangladesh its not worth, its just an eye wash , as a seniro player and professional player we reapect him but scoring aginst Bangladesh he will loose his reputation at international level, be practile and see from birds view, DO NOT GET CONFUSED WITH SACHIN WITH INDIA, WHAT HAS SACHIN PLAY TO DO WITH INDIA, HE IS A PLAYER AND AS A SPORTS MAN WE EXPECT HIM TO PLAY WITH AGAINST A TOUGH TEAM, THIS HAS GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH INDIAN CITIZEN. DONT BRING POLITICS IN CRICKET
