Ending a 20-day halt in trade, sparked by the deadly army clashes between Pakistan and India earlier this month, the business between the two neighbours finally resumed today. Six Pakistani goods trucks crossed into Indian-administered Kashmir carrying onions, dates and dried fruits. Traders on the Pakistani side complained that the closure of the key crossing point had cost them 30 million rupees following the flare-up, which left five soldiers dead. Earlier, the cross-border bus service also resumed on Monday.
