London, July 22 (ANI): Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has claimed that the entry of new manager David Moyes has only made the team hungry for glory and there is no way the manager will be vulnerable following Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement.
According to the Mirror, Van Persie, whose 30 goals last term helped United to a 20th title, thought that the players were relishing being part of a new era under Moyes and said that rivals should still fear them even as Ferguson had retired.
The Dutch striker said that everyone wanted to be successful including David Moyes and that the manager was working very hard, speaking to every single player individually.
The Red Devils are entering unknown territory starting a season for the first time in 26 years without Fergie in charge, the report said. (ANI)
