Sydney, Aug 14 (ANI): Australian captain Michael Clarke has said that although it was the batting side's failure that led to Australia falling apart in the Ashes, there was no quick fix for the collapses and called on teammates to not lose faith.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, in the past three years Australia have been bowled out for sub 240 scores on 15 occasions, with one win and 14 losses.
Clarke has scored only two half centuries in all of these collapses to suggest if the skipper doesn't fire, Australia are odds on to roll over, the report said.
The captain said that all he could ask from the players was that they try and get better every day and if they did that, Australia would become a better team, adding that they were working exceptionally hard. (ANI)
