Red lips have been a trend in Hollywood for a long time. However, our Bollywood divas did not resort to this trend for a long time and were rarely sported wearing red on their lips. 2012 changed times and trends and B’wood went the Hollywood way in terms of Beauty & Fashion.

‘Red lips give a seductive and bold look. The colours vary depending on the skin tone -- bright red for the fair skinned, deep reds for the wheatish tone and brownish red for the dusky skin,’ says our beauty & make up expert Meenakshi Dutt.

The gorgeous Kareena Kapoor recently fell in love with this flamboyant shade of romance. The actress looked stunning pouting her red lips in her recent flick ‘Heroine,’ making it a latest trend statement among all the Indian fashionistas. Following suit were other fashionistas like Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor.
