New Delhi, May 21 -- It seems Rajasthan Royals, caught in the middle of the spot-fixing scandal involving three of their players, want to stay away from the spotlight as much as possible.
To this end, they have decided to stay put in Jaipur and will arrive in Delhi for Wednesday's eliminator against Sunrisers Hyderabad only on Tuesday night after a practice session on their home ground that starts at 8.30 in the morning.
It has also been learnt that the team had put in a request to stay at a different hotel, away from where the other three teams are being put up, although this could not be confirmed. An RR official said that the team will stay in the same hotel as others.
"Jaipur is nearby. The weather isn't different. The practice facilities in Jaipur are actually brilliant and it would have been difficult to share space at Kotla. That's why they are arriving late," he said.
