New Delhi, Sep 7 (ANI): Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Saturday said Pakistan should hand over underworld don Dawood Ibrahim to India.
Shinde, who was addressing a monthly press conference of his ministry here, said
India has sufficient proof that Dawood is in Pakistan.
He said Indian Mujahideen co-founder Yasin Bhatkal's arrest was made on the basis of inputs given by the Indian intelligence agencies and denied any role of international intelligence agency.
Shinde, who was replying a query on Bhatkal's arrest, said that country's intelligence agencies were tracking him for long. He said that preliminary information has confirmed that Bhatkal was involved in Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad and some other blasts.
He, however, said, the whole picture would be clear only when the probe is complete.
Bhatkal, a key suspect in several terror blasts since 2008, was arrested in a joint operation by the central intelligence agencies and the Bihar Police.
Bhatkal, who hails from Karnataka, was wanted in the German Bakery bomb blast of February 13, 2010, in Pune that left 17 people dead.
Bhatkal's arrest is the second major breakthrough for Indian agencies after the arrest of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) bomb expert Abdul Karim Tunda on August 16. (ANI)
