Sydney, Oct 19 (ANI): The Australian media has tipped Test opener David Warner to be a bigger legend in cricket than Buddy Franklin is in AFL football, claiming that if the cricketer plays to his potential, then Australia is likely to win the Ashes, beat India here next year and maybe win a World Cup in the next 16 months.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, if that happened, Warner would be loved by more fans and earn more than 30-million-dollars in the next 10 years for his efforts.
If Australia wants to win this year's Ashes series, it needs Warner to bring his A-game, the report said.
Warner was also compared to Michael Slater in the report, as it said that both players tried to win the game from the first ball faced. (ANI)
