Old woman strangled in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 15 (IANS) An 80-year-old woman was strangled at her house here Thursday morning, police said.

Parvati, a resident of north Delhi's Narela, was found dead by her neighbours around 10 a.m. She lived alone.

"Her neighbours informed us about the incident. Prima facie it seems to be a case of robbery-cum-murder as the main gate of the victim's house was found ajar and the house was ransacked," said a police officer.
