Mexican Olympic medallist dies

Mexico City, Jan 17 (IANS) Mexican Olympic race walker Noe Hernandez died of a heart attack after being shot in the head a fortnight back.

The 34-year-old, the 2000 Sydney Olympics runner-up, died on his way to the hospital Wednesday following two heart attacks at his home, reports Xinhua.

He was shot and lost an eye at a bar called "Queen of Kings" Dec 30.
