London, July 25 (ANI): Kate opted to wrap her newborn in a cosy cashmere shawl, a version of which was used by Victoria Beckham to cover her daughter Harper in 2011, according to fashion experts.
At that time, the former Spice Girl covered her baby in a pink version of the 110-pound-wrap from Nottingham knitwear supplier GH Hurt and Son, however, the Duchess of Cambridge chose a classic white for her son's first foray into public life, the Mirror reported.
This means that the shawl had been chosen before she gave birth on Tuesday, as the royal couple, both 31, had famously said that they had absolutely no clue about the sex of their baby.
However, it is not known whether the blanket was a gift to the royal family or Kate picked it online while she was planning for her firstborn's arrival. (ANI)
