New Delhi (The Telegraph): With 52 wickets in his kitty this season, Ashok Dinda is hopeful of being recalled to the national team.
“Yes, I am hoping to get a call to the India team, especially after doing so well in the domestic circuit this season,” said the East Zone bowler. “But I don’t want to think about it and would rather concentrate on my game,” he added.
“The problem is that when your name is in circulation as an India hopeful, you tend to get nervous. In my case, I would like to leave it to the selectors.”
On Monday’s match, Dinda said that he and his teammates had a definite plan. “We knew that nothing much could be done unless we get the new ball. In the meantime, did not allow the opposition to score too many runs."
“I enjoyed bowling on this wicket. But the problem is that you can swing the Kookaburra ball in the first few overs. So I tried to concentrate on my line and length.”
