Helicopter with pilgrims makes emergency landing

Jammu, Dec 30 (IANS) A Pawan Hans helicopter carrying pilgrims to the Vaishno Devi shrine made an emergency landing near here Sunday, a temple official said.

"All pilgrims are safe," said a Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board official.

The helicopter landed at a spot near Katra.

Jammu and its surrounding areas are covered with thick fog since Saturday night.
