Graeme Swann returns home from India

English off-spinner Graeme Swann has returned home to spend time with his daughter who is unwell. The three lions play their final practice game against Haryana on Thursday.

Swann will however return to play the first test against India in Ahmedabad starting on November 15.

"This is a personal matter and we would ask for everyone to give Graeme and his family privacy. We will not be making any further comment at this time", the ECB said in a statement.

England are already missing the services of Stuart Broad and Steven Finn, as the two pacers are nursing injuries. Stuart Meaker had been called up as cover for Finn.
