'In form' Van Persie says he is like 'kid in sweet shop' wanting more at Man U

London, Jan 22(ANI): In form Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie has claimed he is like that kid in a sweet shop, who keeps demanding for more, adding same is the case with him as he always feel he could score more goals for his club.

Van Persie's goal against Tottenham Hotspurs on Sunday was his 11th in his past 11 appearances and 22nd in 23 starts in all competitions, yet perfectionist Van Persie believes he could have done even better, the Daily Express reports.

In a wide-ranging interview with an English channel given before he scored in the 1-1 draw at the White Hart Lane, Van Persie talks about lots of aspects of his game.

When asked if he was happy with the life at United, Van Persie said it's a decent start for him, but added he could have done lot better since he had plenty of opportunities to score throughout the season.

The Dutch forward added that he always think if you start to believe it's going well, you are going down.

Van Persie added when he looks back at the last 10 games, for instance, the statistics look good but for him it should have been 10 games and 14 or 15 goals because he had at least four or five chances that ideally he shouldn't have missed.

Van Persie reiterated that his start at United is good but it could have been lot better.

Van Persie said it's like a kid in a sweet shop, and furtheradded: "It's like, 'Yes this is nice, this is good, this is enjoying yourself'. All these little things added together makes a big difference. It makes me feel I'm surrounded by champions." (ANI)
