Eight killed in Bengal collision

Kolkata, Jan 11 (IANS) Eight people were killed and 30 injured when a bus collided with a truck in West Bengal, police said Friday.

Five people died instantly in the accident that took place late Thursday at Heria in East Midnapore district.

The Digha-bound bus was coming from Howrah. The dead included seven bus passengers and a pedestrian.
