Sydney, Feb 8 (IANS) Australia beat the West Indies by five wickets in the fourth One-Day International (ODI) here at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) Friday to go 4-0 up in the five-match series.
The West Indies were bowled out for 220 in 49.4 overs when they elected to bat first. Australia chased down the target in 44.5 overs to secure a comfortable victory. Kieron Pollard was named Man of the Match for an unbeaten 109, which went in vain.
Pacer Mitchell Johnson took 3/36 and Ben Cutting 3/45 while Shane Watson top scored with 76 for Austraia.
The fifth and final ODI will be played in Melbourne Sunday.
