Calcutta: Anil Kumble has replaced Sourav Ganguly as the chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India's technical committee.
The decision was taken at the Board's Annual General Meeting, in Mumbai, on Thursday and was announced by president Narayanswamy Srinivasan himself.
At the AGM on Thursday, the different selection committees were also decided.
The new chairman of the all India senior selection committee is Sandeep Patil (West) while the junior selection committee will be headed by Chandrakant Pandit.
Meanwhile, Ranjib Biswal, the current president of the Orissa Cricket Association, has been appointed as the chairman of the National Cricket Academy. Biswal will be taking over the responsibility from Punjab's Mohinder Pratap Pandove.
