Hazaribagh, Dec. 12: BJP today rolled out a rath to publicise the Arjun Munda government in Hazaribagh and Ramgarh, a campaign in response to ally Ajsu's claims against Hazaribagh MP Yashwant Sinha during a rally last month.

At a time when the BJP is bristling at JMM's decision to vote for the Centre on FDI issue in Parliament, its call for a hunkar (roar) rally on December 21 is only likely to sour its relations with Ajsu.

Besides Sinha, Munda and state BJP chief Dineshanand Goswami will also address the rally targeted against Ajsu in Ramgarh, a bastion of the regional party.

On November 5, during Ajsu's parivartan rally in Hazaribagh, party leader and labour minister Chandra Prakash Choudhary had declared his intention to take on Sinha in the next parliamentary polls. Choudhary, who is also the Ramgarh MLA, along with other Ajsu leaders had even blamed Sinha for lack of development in the twin districts.

Sinha's constituency notably comprises Hazaribagh and Ramgarh.

Sources said the parivartan rally hurt BJP leaders, as Ajsu president and deputy CM Sudesh Mahto, too, was present along with Choudhary.

District BJP president Rajkumar Lal confirmed that the hunkar rally would be a show of strength in Ajsu's turf.

"Ajsu ne hamare neta (Sinha) ko target kiya, jisse hamare karyakartaon mein gussa hai. Iska jawab hum hunkar rally mein denge (Our party workers are angry with Ajsu for targeting our leader. We will give a fitting reply with the hunkar rally)," Lal told The Telegraph.

Sources said the party was preparing for the hunkar rally earnestly with Sinha monitoring arrangements.

Lal alleged that Ajsu had violated coalition dharma, adding the party was backing corruption.
