The home of Simba Union CC and the Kenya Cricket Association academy, it staged its first ODI between Kenya and West Indies on August 15, 2001. The six grass nets at this ground are the only ones in Kenya. The ground itself is one of Kenya's biggest in terms of capacity and is right next to the Premier Club and across the road from the Nairobi Gymkhana. So access to this ground is not a hassle after all.
